As we wrap up this year and move into the holiday season, our team has been reflecting on what we’ve learned and how grateful we are for the work we get to be part of. Most of the time, folks experience us in the room leading a retreat, helping teams navigate the harder conversations that need to happen, developing leaders through coaching and training, or supporting community engagement efforts. What’s harder to see is the intentional work happening inside our own team that helps us show up grounded and ready to support the work you are leading.
This year, we made space for our own learning and growth. We used the Enneagram to strengthen communication, deepen self-awareness, and show up with more intention. We also took time to look closely at how we deliver certain services, exploring what’s working well and where we could be more streamlined. It wasn’t always easy, but taking an honest look at our own work helped us simplify a few places and become even more aligned with what leaders and teams need right now.
We also stepped outside the office and served together in our Birmingham community, which reminded us why this work matters and reconnected us to our shared purpose. And it gave us a renewed sense of appreciation for the many organizations working every day to build stronger communities.
Everything we do internally shows up in the way we support teams and organizations. The more intentional we are with ourselves, the more thoughtful and effective we can be when we are with you. We feel that deeply, and we carry it with us into every engagement.
As we look toward the holidays, we are holding a lot of gratitude. Thank you for welcoming us into work that matters. We are excited for what’s ahead and look forward to supporting the meaningful work you will be leading in the year to come.
Wishing you a season that gives you just a little space to rest, reflect, and breathe.
