Wrapping Up Our Summer Series: Meet Kristie Cloud

Wrapping up our Summer Series, we’re excited to introduce Kristie Cloud, Clarus’s COO and the person who asks all the right questions. She helps leaders navigate complexity and turn ambitious plans into reality. When she’s not troubleshooting systems or working with leaders and teams, you’ll find her balancing real-world strategy. Here’s Kristie in her own words.

What projects are you currently working on that genuinely excite you and why?

Right now, I’m working on a strategic plan for the School of Nursing at a large health science center, executive and team coaching at a state agency, and strategy leadership alignment with a university client. Basically, if it helps leaders create a clear plan and align their teams to put it into action, I’m all in.

What strengths do you bring to Clarus that are connected to your Enneagram type?

I’m a Type 6—the Skeptical Troubleshooter. Translation: I’m good at spotting what could go sideways, breaking things down, and asking the questions that get to real answers. Those instincts come in handy when working with leaders to advance big work in complex systems, where tough conversations are often needed to make progress.

What’s something outside of work that brings you joy or keeps you grounded right now?

Reading. A lot of reading. My husband swears he’s going to hex my Kindle just to get me to put it down. These days, I’m hooked on fantasy series, something I never thought I’d be into! Turns out fictional quests are a great counterbalance to the plans-and-processes side of life: fictional problems, neatly solved with dragon fire.
