Summer Series: A Conversation with Rachel Puckett

What projects are you currently working on that genuinely excite you and why?

Truly, every project excites me, but I especially love talking about collaboration. We’re partnering with two state agencies to reimagine their partnership. After years of working together, they saw an opportunity to better leverage each agency’s expertise and transform how they meet critical community needs. This summer, we’ll pilot a new collaborative structure that allows diverse technical experts to jointly develop recommendations and enables key leaders of each agency to make data-informed, strategic decisions together.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Clarus team?

I’m energized by the diverse perspectives and expertise we bring together, all rooted in a genuine care for our clients and their work. Plus, I can always count on our team to create a welcoming, supportive environment where curiosity and kindness thrive.

What’s something outside of work that brings you joy or keeps you grounded right now?

I’m an avid gardener—talking plants is my happy place! I love finding the perfect spot for each plant, helping it thrive on its own, and creating harmony among my garden friends.
