Shauntice has an extensive background in health education program planning and management and health research evaluation. At Clarus, she puts her knowledge and skills to work in project management, strategic planning, diversity training and organizational assessment. Shauntice also is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Human Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB); in addition to conducting undergraduate classes, she also is involved in developing instructional materials, curriculum content, and materials to aid in evaluating subject content.

Previous Experience

Immediately prior to joining Clarus, Shauntice spent four years as Program Director for Community Initiatives to Eliminate Strokes (CITIES), an initiative of the UAB School of Public Health (Office of Minority Health), in cooperation with the federal Department of Health and Human Services. She also has been Program Coordinator for the AVON’s Community Health Advisors in Action program through the UAB School of Medicine, and Project Coordinator for a University of Alabama child and family health initiative funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
