Liza has strong research and analytical skills, an expertise in partnership building, and experience with public company investor relations. In addition to her day-to-day responsibility for Clarus’ business development and marketing efforts, Liza manages projects related to strategic planning, business planning, sustainability and internal and external communications. Based in Chattanooga, Liza represents Clarus in Tennessee.

Previous Experience
Liza worked previously for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, where she was charged with producing a pre-strategic planning report for the amfAR Board of Trustees and executive management. This work included a one-of-a-kind environmental scan that analyzed the mission and financial performance of over 1200 nonprofit organizations. Prior to that, she served as the Vice President of Partnership Development at a publicly-traded nanotechnology firm, where her duties included development of relationships with universities in Europe and the United States and management of investor relations.
