"Things are not always as they appear. My study of economics taught me to look for the 'invisible hand' in any situation. The big picture is important, but the devil is in the details, as they say. It is at the task level that the building blocks for success are laid, and where management of the process is critical. To be successful, you have to be certain of your vision, diligent in your tasks, and cognizant that there may be unknown factors that can affect outcomes positively or negatively, depending on how effectively they are anticipated and handled."
